Champion : Morphology
The different somatotypes

Those refer to work of William Sheldon on the human constitution, who present besides great similarities with the ayurvedic treaties (and its three gunas). One distinguishes three body types (ectomorph, endomorph, mesomorphic), to which eMusclor adds the “undefined” type.
The morphology of a champion is irreversible, also take care well to choose it while his creation.
- Ectomorph (the ayurvedic vatta ?) : rather high and fine silhouette, grows bigger with difficulty but loses fat contents more easily, with less consequences for the organism
- Mesomorph (the ayurvedic pitta ?) : athletic silhouette (bust in “V” shape), takes muscle more easily but presents an increasing risk of wound (too tonic muscles)
- Endomorph (the ayurvedic kapha ?) : heavy silhouette, better metabolism (energy needs lower than the normal, more solid health), but loses fat contents with difficulty
- Undefined : no special characteristic.
Which constitution to choose
The mesomorph type is famous to be most advantageous in bodybuilding. In the game, each type has advantages and disadvantages, and represents only a tendency in the form of light bonus/malus.
Thus, an ectomorph can be a good long-term investment : it will be longer to form but will be easier to harmonize. In the same way, its capacity to be dried quickly enables him to link up contests more easily.
On the opposite, an endomorph will have more difficulty in enter the competition, but its career will be able to last longer and will be besides rather cheap (reduced nutritional needs).
As for mesomorph, in spite of its assets it will be more difficult to manage daily than any other morphology.
Lastly, the undefined type presents to no bonus nor malus, and obeys the basic formulas.
In conclusion, there is not a best somatotype, but probably a morphology which sticks more to your objectives and your personality.
