Champion : Bodywear
This parameter, expressed as a percentage, quantifies the body wear of a sportsman, and varies mainly according to the feeding (toxicity of introduced food, deficiencies and excess), and to a lesser extent according to the intensity of the trainings. The diseases and the wounds also contribute to weaken the organism.
A natural wear of 1% is also added to each birthday of your champion, due to ageing ; this value being inalterable (the man being theoretically able to reach the 120 years under good conditions with a hygiene of perfect life). At 21 years, wear cannot thus be lower than 1%, and at 40 years it cannot be under the 20%.
This “degradation” of the body increases the risk of injury and of disease, which implies a virtuous or vicious circle according to the care that one brings to him : a poor quality of life generally involves accidents, those will harm the body which will then be exposed to more problems ; and vice versa.
All the difficulty (especially for a sportsman or its coach) consists in pushing the body until its limits, without being sharp with it nor to disparage it because it does not react sufficiently well (or rather quickly).
Certain processing (in particular plant-based) make it possible to decrease this wear moderately, but without being able cause to drop it under the threshold of ageing (see above).
With an healthful diet and little excess, a champion can thus have a very long career ; while an athlete continuously thorough in his extremities will risk a very short career (but generally more intense and rich in victories).
