Human body, Anatomy & Muscular system
The human body includes more than 639 muscles, which account for on average 40% of the dry weight of the body (this percentage being obviously higher among the fitness adepts, especially bodybuilders).
By regroupings and simplifications, eMusclor chose to be interested in around thirty big muscles particularly related to the sports of fitness. Most curious will be able to consult the reference book on the matter : the encyclopedia Gray's anatomy documented very well and illustrated.
